is there a way to make your period come faster?

My period is about 10 days late, and its usually late but I'm supposed to be having a pool party at the end of next week and I don't like to wear tampons so I want to make sure I get it before that. Is there anyway to like speed up the process and make it come sooner, like now?

not that i know of, sorry =/

Its usually not regular for the first 1-2 years you have it (says my doctor)

I would just always be ready for it...because its late and you dunno when it comes. and if it doesent by the time you have the party then i would suggest wearing one just to be safe.

Good Luck Hun =/

There is not a way to spead it up but there are ways to make your period more regular. It might be stress that is causing your period to delay. Mine does that sometimes.

just relax and dont think about it because if you stress your period will be late. Try exersize as this relaxs the muscles.

I just had this problem. I went to the doctor and (after he tried to talk me out of it) he prescribed a one month supply of birth control called Alesse. That way, after the 3 weeks of taking pills, your period would come after you stopped taking the pills. If you don't want to take birth control, I'd say suck it up and use tampons. Be lucky you can, because I can't use them.

well the thing about periods is that when you're a teenager they sometimes like to sit back and wait until the most inconvenient moment possible and there is absolutely no way to speed them up or slow them down. you could ask your doctor about the pill, it'll make it easier to track your period in future. a little trick my friend told me about tho (she HATES tampons) is to wear a pad with a string bikini bottom, then cover the string bikini with some swimming shorts so no one is any the wiser that its ur time of the month.
