i am training to be a cosmetologist and i am always styling my hair with heat. i use a good protectant beforehand, but are there any good product i can use that will restore my damaged hair and make it less dry?

and truthfully you can use any conditioner as a leave it just don't use too much you don't want gooey hair : P

and anything that is for sleeking and making shiny will leave a bit of a coating

i really like the equate brand (from walmart) the conditioner that's like pantene proV that is for sleek and shine is wonderful : P

I suggest to use something that you already have.To convert regular conditioner into a leave In-condictioner just by mix a Fill the spray bottle with one part conditioner and four parts water, 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil.Shake to combine.Comb through dry or wet hair.This aslo can be done the same way with your sunblock lotion that has SPF 15 or higher mix water,lotion, and regular conditioner Shake to combine.

tigi catwalk fast-fixx leave in conditioner is really lightweight and goood, it works on my hair like a treaaat, and i am always using heat on it! :]

My hair guy told me and uses Redken heat protectant. He uses it on me and my hair seems to turn out nice. But about once every two weeks I will do an olive oil treatment in my hair and leave it on for an hour or more. it helps.
