I'm starting my senior year of high school. I need a new look.

Since im starting my senior year. I want to go into it looking like im serious about it. But how do I get that look without looking boring? I want know what i should do to get the High school senior/ College freshman look. Not just clothes wise but also hair and makeup wise. Keep in mind that i am a little over weight.

you should just find what you like in terms of magazines, what clothing fit's your particular "style" , weight shouldn't be a hinderance at all .I cant really tell you what to wear or anything, or how to dress in terms of high school/college. I'm a university student and I still wear colourful bright styles like CoCoLuLu (japan) and then switch up the next day and dress in Celeb-Kei Gyaru (japan) style at school. It doesn't really matter. In terms of not being boring , if you get your coodinates right then you'll look great and not boring. Hair, I couldn't possibly help with hair without a picture :S so once again, i'll just say find a picture of a hairstyle you really like, as long as thickness and length wise it can be done, go to a salon and you're good to go. Makeup wise, you can either go light or heavy, but regardless false lashes seem to be in currently, contouring your face can help give it shape, and nude lips will help loads too. I have a few fashion forums on my blog and contouring tips. Above all, just try to keep yourself healthy and don't rely on the makeup too much. Sooo...I guess if you're looking for specifics

what's your style in particular? There is a way to incorporate all styles into looking more adult and "a la mode" you don't have to just drop them (maybe minus scene, i'm sorry but i'm waiting for that styles to disappear into the sands of time ._.)
