best foundations?

Ok, I really need to find my dream foundation, but it seems like they are all the same... the best thing I've ever found was a tinted sunscreen from Clarins. It blends perfectly into my skin, doesnt rub off, feels very soft and powdery to the touch, and doesn't make my skin feel greasy. It's not thick at all. If anything its very watery, but I like that because I just want light coverage that FEELS light on my skin. But... its a sunscreen. Id be ok with a foundation that has a little spf but I really dont want spf 40. lol I've tried bare minerals but it feels thick on my skin and makes my skin itch really badly, and when I scratch my face then foundation ends up in my nails. Do you know of any kind of foundation that has those properties I described? Or if there's a certain kind of makeup I'm not aware of with those properties? :)

Well I've tried loads of foundation and the ones that worked best for me are Maybelline 24 hour foundation (its not its exact name but its something like that) And I also found Garneirs BB cream nice for a light coverage (its only spf 15 :) ) Out of the more expensive brands I like smashbox for foundations but I think the pharmacy brands are just as good sometimes :) x

Ive been through a sea of foundations and the best thing Ive ever found are BB creams. But NOT the american made ones from Maybelline or Garnier. Asian BB creams are great, and no, they arent made just for asian skin. They provide great coverage, and benefit your skin too. The best brand I've tried is Skin79. You can find it cheaper on amazon.

why not try Argan Matchmaker Serum Foundation, I'm not going to lie it's pretty pricey $42
you can get it in Sephora, I use it and it's totally worth it!
it blends really well into your skin and not greasy at all! doesn't even look like you're wearing makeup! [:

Although I don't really have an answer for you, I would go into a store like sephora and thell them exactly what you're looking for and tell them what you don't want from it! They can probably even do your makeup for you so you can try it on but that's usually only if you spend a certain amount of money... good luck though! (:

Yea I totally forgot about the asian ones!! There fab!!! Some of my friends by them online :) The reason I use the american/uk brand ones is because I have a completely white undertone and most of the asian ones are for a more yellowy undertone :) Just thought I'd let you know that if you have a yellow undertone most of the asian BB creams work the best but otherwise in most cases it doesnt look right. I'd definetely give them a try anyway hannah!! ^_^
