ok so lately I've lost some weight and look really good. But it seems that after I eat spicy food or a milk product or just something that doesn't agree with me my stomach gets huge and bloated and kind of hurts like heartburn so I take a pepcid and I burp for a couple of hours and it eventually goes down and back to normal. My question is, why does it do that?? Does it matter that my grandma has the same issue?

maybe you are slightly lactose intolerant

but it is totally possable for your body to create excess gasses when you eat certain foods.

you can try gasX pills too or just talk to your dr about it. he may suggest not eating too many milk products

you can be getting bloated from spicy foods because they're mixing with the acids in your tummy and yes making gas. that wouldn't be as dangerious as the lactos stuff
