im 12 years old. do you guys have any types of diets that are safe for 12 year olds to go on? im about 4'11 and a little over 100 pounds. i want to loose weight in my stomach, hips, theighs and maybe arms. please help . thankyou:)

you're young and if you start dieting and stuff now, you could damage your health and possible stunt your growth. the best option for you is to become active, just start running more. i wouldn't do anything too extreme, eat healthy but don't starve

bear14 is sooo right! you're too young to go on a diet per se, although it's best that you eat healthy! never starve yourself or skip meals. you need proper nutrition for growth and hormone regulation, especially when you're hitting puberty. and hun, i think what you have right now is just baby fat which you'll probably lose by your late teens.

eat your fruit and veggies! drink plenty of water, which will flush out your system. drink milk, they don't lie about it building stronger bones, but i would try a reduced fat or organic milk, braums has a really good reduced fat, they don't use tons of hormones in their's! (: get out for atleast 30-45 min a day, since its summer, swimming is a great way to get in shape, it burns calories faster than running! (: did you know it was better to walk for a half hour every day than to run?

also, don't worry, as you grow taller and hit puberty you'll thin out. it's almost a given! (:

diets are never good... just be active and work out... But don't work out too much because you can stop growing in puberty and then you'll be pretty short..... Just eat healthy, be active and work out(only a bit).... :)

Diets are a disaster if u go on one you have to stay on it to keep the weight off and your far to young for diets!! U just have to eat more healthy and exercise more but not much!! Im a gym instructor so if u want anymore advice just let me knoe id be more than happy to help.
