Not skipping meals is important when dieting, however meals and snacks are two different things! When you eat, try not to eat after seven is the rule of thumb.this is because the calories you just ate will be sitting there without being burned while you sleep, and you digestion slows down also so your body takes more fats in. Snacking in small portions however is a great way to keep your metabolism boosted. Its actually better to eat a few small meals and snacks vs one or two large meals a day, which makes sense :-) just make sure its nothing hefty or high in calories/fats/glucose at night and you should he fine :-) but if you are finding it hard to not be hungry at night, dont be alarmed. Chances are your body has to break out of the old routine that its used from your previous diet. Also, boredom might be a cause of eating...good luck!!
