how to use COLOR FILLER?

a few months ago i dyed part of my hair purple. i was rly excited about it then but now that its growing back i hate it. i used Splat! hair dye and i went to their website they said the best way to remove it is to use a color filler then dye ur hair. i bought some and the cashier said normally she tells costumers how to use stuff but she had no idea how color filler worked. so after serching the web and constantly rereading the bottle i still dont no how to use it. im dyeing my hair dark brown and i just got a new hair cut (l@@K @ mi lil pic by mi name). very excited about dying it. ive nvr had this color brown ive always had dirty blonde or bight blonde hair. after countless hour i decided to ask u guys which i shudve done first. im going to use colorful protien color filler in#2 warm brown perchesed at sallys

has anyone used a color filler?

how does it work?

I'm constantly dying my hair different colors and the ONE thing Ive used to make it lift is One n' Only Colorfix. It comes in a yellow package. I'm not sure how it would work with purple since Ive never had purple, but its roughly 14 bucks a box and it is made to lift color so you don't have to strip it out. I used it on dark auburn hair one time and it lifted it to a nice light brown chestnut color. I haven't used the box in ages because I have to bleach my roots anyway, but one thing I would recommend if you're wanting to go back to your normal color..try to find a color that nearly matches your hair so your roots grow in..however if you're wanting to keep dying it, just use a little bleach. I would deep condition with Aussie 3 minute miracle though, it works SO good and its only a few bucks. I deep condition twice a week and it keeps my hair nice and soft and not frizzy at all surprisingly. All in all, hair grows back, don't freak out mostly cause you didn't do your whole head..the worst that could happen is you'd have to dye it a color a bit off from what your hair is. I hope I helped somewhat, I just figured since I do the same with my hair that I would share and suggest a few options for getting rid of fading colors. Also, I also wanted to note if you wanted to do another color, my favorite dye you can also get from Sally's is called Beyond The Zone, I leave it in 3 hours and it's lasted me weeks. Probably the best dye I've used. Hope I helped, xx
