yeah so i kinda need hair help

well i'm growing my hair longer and it lost its shine. it became a little dry. i've noticed that my scalp is oilier than usual. usually i can go a day or two without washing my hair, but now i can't because it oils more easily. i thought that maybe, it's because my scalp is trying to produce more moisture to my recently dry locks. what can i do to make it shiny and healthy again? thanks in advance :))

Washing your hair often washes away your hairs natural resistances, meaning you'll need to wash it even more often! Maybe try a small amount of talcum powder at the roots (not so much it looks like dandruff!) , as this absorbs the oils. Alternate between this and washing your hair daily. A good leave in conditioner should do the trick for the dryness, and some fairly simple hair care routines like towel drying your hair, or blowdrying with a protective spray.
