what's your morning skin care routine?

i'm tired of having to pile on five products on my face in the morning, my skin feels oily afterwards, of course it's expected but the thing is my skin still feels oily on my nose and under my eyebags even after putting on's from the dermatologist but still i hate the greasy feel, can i just use moisturizer in the am? of course, i'm using one with sunblock and the best part is it's matte ^_^ or should i still use the toner? thanks! ^_^ juicystar07, lorii, maeve thanks guys :) but by five products i dnt mean, foundation concealer or's actually a five step skin care routine :)

I am using a liquid foundation with sunscreen and skipping the powder and the sunscreen. So cleanser, toner, moisurizer and then the makeup step. If you keep the cleanser and toner in the shower, it speeds up the process. I use an eyecream too, but I am hearing that you can just use moisturizer and not need specific eyecream!

R ya talking about makeup in the morning routine?? Nah I dunno.... I HATE MAKEUP.... I had to say it..... :P I really think you should only use the mineral powder you told us about and a lil bit lip gloss... That should be it.... and mascara if u wanna... And eye makeup but let's not overreact.... If u wanna look better for a guy, take ur makeup off.... .They like natural and normal.... That's how it is but girls still find it differently..... Please don't let mkp do horrible things to u just like it did to my friend... Her face is awful..... If I ever get able to take her pic without mkp I will show it to u..... Just to motivate u....

ooooohhhhh. okay. thanks for clearing that up.

i use the cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. then i apply my make-up (mascara, concealer, moisturizer with sunscreen in it, whitee eye liner). after that, i spray 3 drps of essential oils into my palms and rub them together. then i gently place them on my face, leaving them there for about 10 seconds. after taking your hands off your face, you will have a nice dewy highlight that is good for your skin!!!

all i do in the morning is rinse my face off with water and wipe it with a cloth.

sometimes i use an oil free moisturizer with spf if my face feels kinda dry

i only wash my face once a day when i'm in the shower after my pores have time to open. i use a mix of normal face wash and my apricot scrub.

i never use toner lol

both lorii-grace and maeve gave good advice. i don't think that you need foundation, especially since it's getting close to warmer weather. you shouldn't clog your pores with all that make-up--just take it easy on your skin. if not, you'll regret polluting your young skin with all those products.

if your skin is oily as it is, overzealous cleansing and/or applying products can only stimulate more oil production. kinda like a rebound effect. keep your regimen simple yet efficient. start with a grease-busting facial wash, follow with a mild toner--not the ones that sting--then pat on a light moisturizer which already has a built-in sunscreen.

That's how my routine goes, as well. ;)

you're so young... stop wearing so much make up... it's honestly disgusting to wear so much

you're clogging up your skin and you're really messing yourself up with all of it

try going an entire week or more without any foundation, toner, bronzer, concealor - anything. you can still use mascara, lipgloss, eyeliner, and mascara... but stay away from the rest of it.
