sorry but it's either find a tampon or sit it out

there are very few WATERPROOF undies you can buy. and if you just use a BATHINGSUIT the water will come in through the fabric and be absorbed by the pad and it'll be useless

Um, I'm pretty sure pads don't work while swimming. :| I'm a swimmer and I hate tampons but I just have to suck it up and wear them because I don't want any embarrassing accidents happening. ;D Try finding tampons... I'm sure they have them somewhere. If not, try talking to your coach. xD

pads don't work when you wear them swimming. they just get soggy and wet. i would say use a tampon but since the philippnes don't really sell them, then i guess you could be okay with not wearing any protection. i've found that when i go into a bath or pool, for example, my period stops. i don't know if this is for every girl, but this happens for me. i think that you should be okay if you go straight into the pool and then wuickly get out and wrap a towl around your waist and quickly go and change into underwear and a pad. Periods are so annoying, right???

no, you absolutely can not wear pads while swimming. they have no use them. I would suggest tampons but you said that you don't like them and that they don't really sell them where you live. I would suggest that, when you're on your period, you go to your swimming teacher and tell him/her that you're on your period and you can't swim. he/she will understand, it's a normal thing.
