PROM!!! :)))

ok so i would like to have the perfect prom this will only happen to me once, no more senior prom coz our school sucks just like that lolz xD anyway, so i shopped for foundation last night with my mom and i got the covergirl pocket powder foundation, and i also got the lashblast volume blasting mascara in brown black, so anyway guys please help me these are my concerns :))

eye makeup to be exact because i still don't have underye concealer, and i noticed dark circles earlier, idk if it's because of the black eyeliner i used but if it is, how do i control it so that it won't migrate down my eyebags? what's my best bet? also, i picked the foundation because it doesn't say that it has spf so i assumed it doesn't have spf and the saleslady told me so too

i still don't have one, what color will match my makeup? i'm planning to do either purple smokey eyes or brown smokey eyes, pink blush and then soft pink lips

i always wear it down and i have no idea what to do with i have no idea what to do with my hair, but i know i wanna curl it, i just don't know if i should wear it up or not, and i'm short about 4"11 so please help me with the dress but yeah the eye makeup is the priority of this question, also primer is liquid right? after that, is it okay to use powder foundation? thanks :))

You'll definitely need primer. It goes under your foundation and helps your face look smooth, flawless, and helps all your makeup stay in place. Where you're petite I say knee length prom dresses! What better chance to show off your legs? and besides some of the gowns they make a body could get lost in! lol. If you do go floor length then get a pair of killer heels(that you can walk in of course!). And with your makeup almost any color dress works with brown smokey eyes. If you do purple aim for purple dress, brown, greys, gold, black or any other colors that are neutral or in the purple family. If you like curly hairstyles do yours half and half. Pin sections with bobby pins from the top and pull back to show off your face and let the rest fall around your shoulders to show off gorgeous ringlets. :)

Well I love the Idea of having the smoky effect around your eyes ! so you should wear a vibrant yet dark colour like a plum purple with maybe some silver accessories , also you should use dream matte mousse foundation (thats what I use) AND IT GIVES YOU A NATURALLY PERFECT FINISH AND COVERS BAGS UNDER THE EYE :) !!! As for the eye make-up THE BIG FAKE mascara from COLLECTION 2000 (not sure if you have hear of it , if you havent look it up :) ! ) and No7 seems to do a very good range of eyeshadows and eyeliners that shine and smuge well . as for the shoes and accesories , silver or black does the trick , if you want to look gothic or classy black is the colour but if you wan to look sassy and funky the silver will do the trick , i hope that has helped , if you need more info just ask :) xx

Hey if your planning on taking photos on the night, revlon colourstay foundation is perfect, and if your not its still pefect lol :) It covers up dark circles and will stay on FOREVER all night. Then after you might want to set it with a light powder. The hardcandy glamoflage concealer is SUPER good at hiding dark circles and isnt very expensive at all. Im from australia but it sells at walmart , target and im not sure where else in the states which im guessing your from because you said 'prom' instead of 'formal' lol. If your eyeliner is smudging just by another one. Maybeliene new york line express in black is a cheap but dark one that doesnt smudge. For your dress im not sure. Depends whether you want long or short. But i'd definatly do a brown smokey eye look as it will go with any dress at all. Lash blast mascara is a very good choice aswell but recently i've bought the colossal mascara and its very similar but i prefer it a little better. Oh and also pink blush and soft pink lips will look fine with any dress. For your hair depending if you have short short layers or not but i'd say curls are veryy beautiful and being me i love wearing my hair down but for a prom i'd have it down and curly and if you have a fringe you could wear it out if not braid it. And probably tease the top of your hair ( not to make it look messy though) just to give it a little bit of volume because curls with volume looks amzing . a primer is liquid both face and eye primer. And you can use powder foundation after anything.. because powder foundation sets your liquis foundation. If your 4'11 it gives you the best chance to wear high heals ! high heals look gorgous just depends if you can walk in them ahah, hope this helped ( sorry for the super long message )
