What kind of milk? Like from which animal? Puppies are not suppose to have cow's milk. I have heard that goat's milk is more gentle and better for them. But the pet stores do sell specific puppy milk intended for dogs. Dogs are also not herbivores.. giving them pieces of fruit and lettuce is not going to work for a growing puppy. (And just giving your puppy milk everymorning is not enough.... they need to eat every few hours.) And No, feeding your dog cerel is not going to work either... it has sugar in it and it is not meant for puppies. Maybe when it is an adult you can give a few as a treat.. but it is not suggested.

You NEED puppy milk, puppy DOG food ( make sure that the puppy food has a high protein % around 30%. Bil-Jac has pretty good puppy food), I used to boil chicken breast for my puppy and shred it up into his food and I would give him one hard boiled egg once a week. You need to feed your puppy about 4 times a day till 4-5 months old.

Please..I would highly suggest for you and your family to visit a veterinary clinic so that they can full educate you about the feeding guidelines for a new puppy and as a new owner. .. they can also help teach you how to potty train...

Also are you getting your puppy from a breeder? or just someone? I also would want you to take your puppy to the vet just to make sure he/she does not have worms. You do not want any surprises and worms inside your puppy is not good for the puppy.

... ok well first puppies do need to eat often. and my mom always mixed soft dog food with some cows milk. she had doxies and yorkies. but goat's milk is more gentle.

once they are older they can just eat 2 times a day and usually you want to keep water down or atleast 3 times a day.

depending on the type of dog and size it'll change the amount they need to eat.

and yes they HAVE TO EAT DOG FOOD and yes they HAVE TO END UP EATING HARD DOG FOOD. it helps keep their teeth clean and makes sure they get all the vitamins they'll need to grow properly

and some fruits are VERY DANGEROUS for dogs to eat. raisins and chocolate are BIG NO NO's

it's best to stick to some breads as a treat but mainly just dog food, dog snacks, and you can give them some milk. they NEED water and NO PORK!!!

i would def not start it on anything but food made especially for dogs. certain things will be very bad for her-something are bad for all dogs and some dogs have deathly allergies to certain foods. raisins and chocolate are poison to dogs. Some foods are ok like i make my dog her own treats sometimes by making yogurt and peanut butter bites or tuna and yogurt frozen pops (i found the recipes off a website for dogs). i would buy dog food. my dog loves kibbles and bits and its good for her.l haha i sound just like the commercial
