#1 if you can buy a CAPSTAR from a vet (it's a pill) and give it too hiim it'll kill everything on him and keep them away for 3 days so you should be able to kill them all by washing his bedding in hot water.

#2 i heard on the diy channel that if you get a green night light and leave it on at night with a big bowl of soapy water under it. it will attract the fleas.

#3 Real LAVENDER OIL it's a natural flea repellent. you but the oil on a bandanna and as long as you can smell it it's working just tie the bandanna around your dogs neck. you can also put some in baking soda and use it as a natural flea dust for your dog and your carpet

#4 wash your dog in a Citris dish detergent (like dawn) BE VERY CAREFUL dont' get soap in your dogs eyes or nose. use your hands to scrub around his face don't apply soap directly on his head.

oh also ceder wood chips. if you have ceder trees? lol you can just cut off some branches and but them in your house or they sell them at walmart here in giant bags for five dollars. ceder is a natural flea repellent too as long as you can smell it it's working. you can hide it under your couch and furniture. in the corners of rooms and even put it in your yard.

well if u can get a small flea comb which isnt alot of money u can comb him and pick fleas off of him if u take ur time but remember with this method ur not going to get them all but it will help control the problem for the most part. Flea baths are good too

Frontline. It sounds corny, but i work with an animal rescue, and we have rescue animals bring in fleas often. Frontline works best, especially for my dog, and one of our cats, who have skin and flea allergy. It kills fleas, and doesn't harm the animals at all. Vaccum every day, and if your dog isnt afraid of the vaccum, put on the brush attachment and vaccum him to.
