What's the best type of eyeshadow to use?

I have pretty oily skin and all the eyeshadow/ eyeliner i wear creases or rubs of by 3rs or 4th period. Is there any good eyeshadows that will last long but arent outrageously priced (im broke :[)

If you know of any cool shades of eyeshadow too that'd be cool to know bout ;] thanks

your best bet is to go to sephora and get a eye shadow primer. I hate wearing eye shadow because I always have to touch it up throughout the day, but then I used the primer and not only does the colors show up a hundred times better but it'll last a lot longer =)

Hm, maybe you put to much on. If you put like a cover-up on your eye lid before your eyeshadow it will stay on and not fall. + you dont have to put on as much. Personaly I love colors like silver, green, blue, and purple. But natural colors are awesome if your broke because its an everyday look and always looks good :]

wel here's de thing ..cream eyeshadows r best 4 ur sort of a crisis xcept dt it makes ur ski a bit more oily which is bad 4 u ryt cos u already got oily skin

but hey it wont hurt to try ..stay away from the powders cos ur oily skin absorbs dt realy fast :thumbup:gd luck

I also have the same problem. I use a creme eyeshadow stick in a milky white or gold color and I apply it on my lids up to my crease. After I do that, I usually layer a powdered eyeshadow up to my crease(any color) and use another powder eyeshadow(usually a shimmering gold) to blend it into my crease.

Use Urban Decay Primer Potion, you can usually get it for about $15 or $16 a tube online, or a cheaper version is Loreal "DeCrease", which is CHEAP at drug stores. Just dot a little bit onto your lid with the wand, spread evenly with your fingertip, let dry for barely a second, then apply your shadow by patting it on, not rubbing, smudging, or smearing it on, & you will be good to go the whole day!

Hope this helps!
