What should I do with my hair? :(

I have long, thin hair and I have a square face. I don't know what to do with it because most styles make me look dorky! And also, I have a natural crownflick (or cowflick, I don't know which one it is) in my hair, and I got a fringe a while back. The crownflick makes my fringe part so I have a gap in it, and the gap me look really ugly! I straighten it but sometimes it doesn't work, and if it does then it usually wears out through the day and the gap comes back! What should I do?

Okay, so if you are talking hair cuts then i think you should leave it long.

If not then to style it i would try curling with OUT heat because that one works better for thinner hair :) Thats basically sectioning your hair into 4 parts ( 2 or 3 or just a big bun) and TWISTING like mad. Make a little bun on your head and tie it down do the rest of your hair. Tighter it is the tighter the curls so be careful! And for your fringe problem im guessing you have a block fringe? well if you do i would convert to a side fringe so its not as obvious with your crown/cowlick. If you have a side fringe already then try swapping sides,

Obviously dont go and cut your fringe if you dont want to :D

Post a pic some time so we can see what style of hair you have :)

i would use a cute big hair clip for the cowlick to hold the hair down over it

but i like long layers and side bangs

my daughter has a cowlick in the back middle top of her crown. so i brush all the hair foward for her bangs and let that be the natural part. (basicly she has no part on her head it all comes from that circle in back and she has straight across bangs)

side bangs and layers add lenght and make you face look less wide but if we can see a front view we can tell you if you really have a square face i know a girl who does and OMG her jaw is HUGE at the sides. her face looks JUST LIKE A SQUARE but she's the only person i've EVER seen that really had a square face

Well to make full bangs behave the trick is to brush them the way you want them to be right when you get of the shower so they dry that way! slowly it will train your hair to stay that way! but you gotta brush it when its wet otherwise it wont stay put!

And you can get a hair style with short side swept bangs lik in the pic and choppy layers! this style will compliment your cowflick:)
