Good news: I'm in love! Bad news: IT SUCKS.

So! I transferred to a new school at the beginning of the year. I still don't have many friends, especially not in the "in-crowd," which is EXTREMELY defined at this particular school. (Even Urban Dictionary entries for it talk about it.) I'd really never full-out crushed on anybody before, save for a few short-lived infatuations at my old school, but that one was really small, and this school is huge. Nevertheless, there's one guy in the whole mix that really stands out. He's in a few of my honors classes. He likes the same stuff as me. He's loud but swet. I mean, for Pete's sake, he grew up with all sisters! And I've been obsessing over him for months. It's not like me. I dress, eat, talk, and act with him in mind. But he's so popular. I can't talk to anyone and when I'm nervous I stammer like George VI. He was in the school musical, and I was in stage crew, so I talked to him a bit, but otherwise he doesn't know me well. How can I at least become friends with him?

Help with "chicken skin?"

Okay, so: ever since I was little, I've had these weird red bumps on my arms and legs. And they started spreading as I grew. Now they're on my face, they're running rampant on my limbs, and...other places. *cough* I've always hated them, but no matter how much I moisturized, they wouldn't go away. I finally decided to do some research, and decided that I have "chicken skin," or keratosis pilaris. From what I've heard, it's incurable, but not harmful. It can flare up and go down in some years, and it doesn't last forever, but it lasts for a long time. But I can't figure out one way to make it...less bad. Some say to see a doctor, some say not to, some say to use this cream, some say to use that cream. Can somebody tell me the best way to treat it? Bottom line: they're just plain unsightly and hideous. And if I can't get rid of them entirely, I want them minimized, and I don't want them spreading any more. If you don't know what chicken skin is, go on Google images. Help me!
