Ok PLEEEAASE help, im a little scared....

OK well like last month i finally got contacts. They are Optix soft lenses and i use opti free cleanser. at first they were fine no problem and there was no problem at the check after a couple weeks to make sure everything was ok. but recently after i take my contacts out my pupil is red around and my eye feels sore or like heavy...... Whats the problem.....? (It goes away in the morning after i sleep but my eye is still a bit red but not bad at all) My contacts are supposed to allow me to wear em all day and i do but should i limit the amount of time they are in..? Is this normal? MAybee will it go away..? *SIGH* and do i have to go see a doctor???? Its costs a lot of money and i hate app, and i dont want them to say like u have a disease or u cant wear contacts anymore cuz i FINALLY got them after all these years. Okay sorry im dumping alot and i kno u guys are not eye specialists or anything but like suggestions or past experiences or anything would be great! thanxs uh ton!!! OH! and i just got a years supply and it would suck if i couldnt use them and i am very good with keeping my contacts clean and stuff...... (:

how long are you wearing them a day, and how long are they meant to be used per day? are your eyes wet during the day, or are they getting dry? you can call your doctor and ask them a question...and it wont cost anything. :)

first it never hurts to call your eye dr and tell them your symptoms it can be as simple as you're not cleaning them properly for daily use, and using a regular eye drop is a NO NO it will irritate them and dry them out. you need one's that hydrate and are made for contacts

when i used the disposable ones i didn't clean them when i opened a new pack just right in my eye and makesure they are the correct directions not backwards

and cleaning is using some drops rub them in the palm of your hand to makesure there is no build up inside them from your eyes. have you tried switching them out?

well it might be an adjusting period and it might go away, but there is also a chance they aren't working 4 you. I'd suggest talking to an eye doctor, just to make sure everything is ok and normal

i have that too, it's just cause your eyes aren't used to the change so fast and such, that's what my optomistrist said to me when i mentioned, he said it will eventually go away and if it doesn't then you have to live with it :( sorry dear.
