Need to sleep!

I CANNOT fall asleep at night and i need to cuz i have to get up at 5 30 ish and i end in bed at 10 00 and actually go to sleep at 12 00! Anyone kno how any tricks to falling asleep? Thanks : )

are you an insomniac? ( it could be caused by stress, anxiety, an out of sync circadian dysrythmia) but still maybe listen to somethng soothing whilst resting, close all lights or dim them uber loas, don't drink anything sugarfilled or cold,probably warm things will help, just listen to the sound of the ocean and kinda drift off D: that should help , if not talk toyour parents and/or doctorD:

that happened to me

the way i stopped that was you should to activities that will get you tired

for example i workout mostly everyday.

just something that gets you moving,you know what i mean?

and don't try to sleep during the day cause that's another reason why you might not be able to sleep.

I would look up ways to fall asleep faster (like drinking warm milk before bed and look into things you may be doing that makes you stay up (like caffeine). If nothing else helps why not try half a dosage of tylenol pm? its not addicting and should be only if taken only when needed

-drink a glass of water or cold milk

- for at least 30 mins. before you go to bed, stay off computer, TV etc.

-get a bag of lavender, mint, etc. and put it next to yer bed

aaam, yeah. workouts do help. i'm exercising to just to get my body exhausted and get some sleep. and when it wont work, i read some boring school stuff. or a boring book.. one that i like, but things happen to slowly if you know what i mean ;)

doing both should really work! good luck!

try an over the counter sleeping aid.

drink warm milk

take a warm bath with lavender baby night time wash

yoga before bed to soothing music

at the least try to pretend to be asleep so your body can rest a bit.

also if really in doubt take some niquil (night time cold meds) they usually knock most people out
