hair problem..

in the winter,when i straighten my hair they are ok but now i can't keep them straight for many hours.what can i do to make my hairstyle last?my hair is wavy/curly btw

Due to humidity your hair is, unfortunately, going to curl back up after you straighten it. Mine is the same way so this is what I do to prevent it from curling:
1) I thin my hair out every month because it's unnaturally thick. Thick hair is bound to unstraighten in humidity.
2. After showering, I'll blow dry my hair straight, just like the way I'm going to be straightening it. This helps to get rid of some of the curl BEFORE it's dry.
This is all I do and my hair stays straightened all day long. If you need extra help, you can buy a cheap straightening balm to apply to your hair before you dry it; making it extra smooth and straight.
