Messy eyebrows?

I've been plucking for about 4-5 years and my natural eyebrows are INCREDIBLY bushy. They used to require plucking on occasion but for the past year or so I've been plucking practically everyday to keep them neat.

But it's reached a point where there are small hairs everyday and so they always look messy no matter how many I manage to pluck away.

I've attempted to grow them back in order to start over new - getting them done professionally, threading, waxing, etc - but I only make a few days before I begin plucking again.

Any suggestions?

get them waxed by a professional, or you can buy waxing kits and wax them yourself. remember, waxing is one big ouch, whereas tweezing is lots of little ouches, and it takes longer.

before tweezing, take a shower to soften the hairs and open pores. when you start plucking, it won't hurt as much then. if you don't have time for a shower, wetting a washcloth with warm water and draping it onto your eyebrows for 5-10 minutes is another option.

with an eyebrow pencil, draw in the desired eyebrow shape while looking in the mirror.

when you are satisfied with your shape, take your tweezer and carefully pinch the stray hairs one at a time (close to the skin) and pull it out. Pull the hair up, or straight out. never pull the hair down or you will break the hair.

do not tweeze all the stray hairs at once. instead, stop every once in a while to check on your progress in a mirror as you may want to alter your shape.

you can also use small scissors to trim long eyebrow hairs to keep them short and neat.

soothe the skin with witch hazel, ice, or skin cream to prevent any bumps from occurring.

if you're still not satisfied with the shape, or think your eyebrows are messy, take a (preferably) new toothbrush, spray it with hairspray, and then rub the brush over your eyebrows to shape them as you want them. this also keeps the hairs down.

hope i heelped?! :]
