one way I have heard of to naturally lightening your hair is mixing lemon juice and olive oil together and comb it evenly in your hair and then go out in the sun for however you want. :)

another way is by using hydrogen peroxide

Applying Peroxide to Lighten Hair

* Spray peroxide on hair and brush through with a comb. Allow hair to dry. Some people choose to wash their hair after applying peroxide; others just spray it and go.

* If you want greater lightening, harness the power of the sun by sitting or walking outdoors after applying peroxide to hair

Continue using peroxide until you achieve desired hair lightening.

Hope that they help :)

even with out the sun it works, the sun just increases the effects and makes it lighter faster.

dont listen to "WHATEVER YOU DO DONT BLEACH YOUR HAIR IT RUINS IT" it doesnt ruin it as long as you dont bleach it too much or leave the bleach on for longer than it says and you take GOOD CARE of your hair afterwards, my hair is naturally almost black ;)! and my hair to touch (without hairspray in it and stuff lol) is silky and smooth. i cant really see any other way apart from bleach because your hair is quite a dark red colour. xxxx

It takes years to grow out.

Go get a professional, like, local hairdressers. Or get a parent to dye your hair.

Also you might want to try shampoo and conditioner from Pantene AFTER you lighten your hair up with lemon juice. It's called Pantene PRO-V blond highlighting expressions.
