Is it okay for a naturally curly hair to have digi perm?
Posted on 28 Jan 2012
I don't see anything wrong with it, but I do not know how it would come out. You should ask your local hairstylist for extra advice. If its for you hair, I think it will come out nicely, as long as you go to the right people!
Well a digital perm isn't really all that different from a regular one except for the heated rods. A digital perm i uses hot rods with the temperature regulated by a machine, which has a digital display, hence the name. A traditional one gets the heat from a helmet dryer. But the process of the perm isn't all that different. It still uses a chemical perm solution to hold the curls.
As far as your hair being naturally curly, that should actually help. It makes a perm easier to roll. I was a model from age 9-14 and I had naturally curly hair too. Bit the agency still had me get perms to put even more curl in it. It never hurt my hair. So I think it'll be ok 4 u.
Your hair would be fine with it. I looked at some before and after pictures of ladies and some of them had naturally curly hair too. Your hair looks great right now btw.
If you're worried about it not looking great then ask a stylist about it.
It might be pretty pricey though depending on the salon, the solution they chose to use, and how many machines they have.
oh this also shows some people after it and the machine
