I've read that drinking the recommended amount of water each day can help control hunger cravings. Plus, it's just plain good for you on so many levels! Eating foods with high fibre content are also said to hang around in your stomach and keep you feeling fuller longer. But I find the best motivation for making a change is to remind yourself why you don't want to eat that dessert and visualize positive results.

But at the same time, m'dear, who doesn't enjoy tasty treats? Depriving yourself can make those cravings worse. Refusing to let yourself enjoy your desserts can feel like a negative experience and will be that much harder to commit to. Balance is key.

Maybe compromise by having half a piece, or something else sweet like fruit. Sometimes I'll make little deals with myself, like: "Okay, if I have this now, I won't have dessert after dinner." Or: "If I have two pieces, I'm taking a walk tomorrow morning."

Those are my thoughts, because I have such a sweet tooth, and cutting things out of my diet has never worked for me.

i had the same problem

and i just repeated to myself and reminded myself that I HATE FOOD. (even though i dont)

and that i dont want to eat , and that im not always hungrey

eventualy your just kinda turned off food

this is a self enduced hypnosis subconciuos thing that works for me.

now sometimes i dont even notice i'm hungry

and remember . before you eat kinda stop and be like . am i hungrey or am i just eating this cause it looks delish?

then put it away or enjoy it in small bites over a long period of time ...

I try to make myself think it taste bad. Like when I see some candy, I think of something I really hate and then try to make myself believe that the candy taste like that.

i had that same problem babae!!! i herd this on the biggest looser, okay so every time u have a craveing 4 cake or watever eat a chocolate coverd strawberry! strawberrys r healthy and dark chocolate is good 4 u! no joke =)

remember to eat three main meals a day and when you feel like snacking just try and distract yourself

If you do not buy it then you won't have it. That is what I do.. I will not buy it from the grocery store... so I won't be able to eat it. Can't eat it if you do not have it.

I buy a lot of fruits and light juices for my home so... that way I can stay healthy.

i would drink water before you eat the desert, and then you wouldn't eat too much. because, water fills you up, so you will feel full before you even eat it, so you won't eat that much. but, your still eating desert(:

You have to stay away from them. Don't temp yourself, just don't eat a lot of desserts. Eat the right amount and enjoy every moment with these sweets. Just learn to control yourself. You may check out to know what creates cellulite.
