i've heard that when people swim while they are on their period....your period stops/ends...is that true?is it healthy?

no that's not true. its perfectly fine to go swimming while you have your period!
Ive always been told not to...but its kinda odd how once your in water...it stops haha. it doesent stop for the month though lol just once your in water.
it stops for the time being only bkz ur in the water
It just stops it for a little while, because of the pressure but once you get out of the water....:">
There is nothing wrong about going swimming when you have your period use a tampax and just be careful when you get out of the water go change it quickly so there won't be any unpleasant surprises ;)
i went swimming everyday for 3 months i didnt get it until i stopped for about a month later.
it doesn't end sweetheart
what happens is the pressure from the water stops the "blood" from coming and when you get out the water it comes back jst as normal
this is completly normal and you have nothing to worry about
Its normal nd its not unhealthy at all its just what happens to girls
your period does stop when you get in the water, its just like putting a cut under water the blood stops. i use a tampon when i go in the water too incase i need to get out of the water i wont have to run to the bathroom to put one in.
yes, blood does no longer come out when you get into the water because of the pressure, but then, when you get back out, then it's back to normal agaain. i would wear a tampon just incase of any accidents(:

It is perfectly fine to swim during your period. It is perfectly fine to do any activity during your period. And when you are in water it tends to slow down or stop
Some say to wear a tampon when you swim wearing a However, never use for more than 8 hours, as this increases the chance of Toxic Shock Syndrome. Remember to use a less absorbent tampon if you are less experienced.
