How can I make my hair look shiny and healthy?

I have to wash my hair every day because it looks horrid.

I also straighten my hair every day and it's snapped alot.

How can I make it look shiny and healthy?

one thing you need to do is get something to protect your hair from heat damage since you straighten it everyday. besides that, i would suggest not straightening it, but that's up to you. another thing you can do to get some shiny is when you're washing your hair, use cool/cold water...(warm water to wash out the shampoo) but use the coldest you can stand to wash out the conditioner because then the conditioner's moisture will be trapped in your hair. i sometimes wash it out with my head upside down...that gives a bit of lift and body. but you can do it normally too.

yeah also if you want your hair healthy, washing it daily strips it of natural oils it needs. Also a heat protectant spray would help drastically with straightening your hair, as it does strip your hair of moisture when you straighten it causing damage and making it prone to snap. I'd suggest instead of regular conditioner when straightening your hair, you use extra virgin olive oil heated up, and wash out with shampoo, it won't make your hair oily at all, but it will drastically help the condition of your hair. If you youtube it, i'm sure you'll see a few videos about it and it's effects on the hair etc. I like it because it's strictly all natural.

a good conditioner for damaged/split ends can help and leave it on as long as you can in the shower

try to tone down the heat usage i let mine air dry as well but i do comb it when i get out of the shower to make it a lil straighter

you can use a Vo5 hot oil treatment they sell them at walmart

also John Freida makes a Clear Gloss color glaze (they sell it at ULTA stores and it just helps shine and strengthen
