Try washing with an oatmeal soap then after use witch hazel. Also wash ur face with cool water... Do not wash all the time.. Sometimes just cool water rinse will do the trick..

Just simple soap like ivory will do the trick and use cool water.. all the products they have out there are useless.. Do not give into them.. Also witch hazel rinse is good.. If it stays worse you may want to see the doctors.

you need to get into a routine, wash your face morning and night. use a wash, toner then moisturiser.

i tried proactiv/dermatologica/dr. lewinns.. pretty much everything too. but the best treatment for acne is something with benzoyl peroxide (either 5 or 10%) or an antiseptic wash - i use 'OXY Medicated Wash' (

for a toner, witch hazel is great. also look for salicylic acid in the ingredients (try Biore 'Triple Action Astringent')

look for an oil-free moisturiser (try Garnier Pure 'Shine Control Moisturiser') it's important to balance the skin.

use a face mask about once a week, Young Solution has a charcoal one thats great for oily skin. also don't forget to exfoliate, you can use a daily exfoliator at night, otherwise do it at least twice a week.

btw: i don't endorse products, i just know some more 'affordable' brands that have worked in my experience
