Help on keeping my hair straight.......

When I straighten my hair, it never ever stays straight... Its totally aggravating and hate how it looks. Some people I know who have curlier hair the me seem to be able to keep it straight like all day. Can anybody give me any advice?

I have the same problem >.<
Try using a little bit of mouse or some gel. make sure your hair is WET when you put it in. then let it dry, or blow dry it. straighten as usual, & it should stay straight. :)

I used to have the same problem.
It was mainly because my hair was so curly and, on top of that, it was really thick.
So I'd thin out my own hair, I'd recommend going to a salon for you unless you or someone you know is really professional in the hair business. So get your hair thinned out if it's really thick and then whenever you take a shower and wash your hair take a comb and brush it, style it, how you want it while you're blow drying it; this should help to take away some of the curliness.
After that, just straighten it. It should help to keep your volume down and keep your hair how you want it, this has ALWAYS worked for me. I can assure you. (:
