What makeup will best work for me?

Hello there.

I'm reasonably good when it comes to making other girls up. I know exactly what would look good on them, but the issue comes with myself.

I tend to stick to a certain look and change small things here and there, but I never feel 'wowed' by my own look. Maybe because I have seen my own face too much lol.

Anyway, I have a smallish, heart-shaped face, fair/pale skin with pink undertones. I have strange grayish eyes, well defined lips (full, though not mrs jolie's..haha), normal nose, naturally black eyebrows and hair that's a funkyish/bedhead cut, shoulderlength with a fringe.

Okay, enough detail.

I usually take a bit of eyeliner, mascara and a deep purple eyeshadow (using it as a deep purple smokey eyeliner) and a cherry red lip balm (Labello's cherry red lol) for just a hint of colour.

It used to work for me, but I am bored and want to try something new.

I don't like a lot of colour or too much makeup.

Any ideas? Please do share..I'm annoyed with myself lol.

maybe you could try some rose pink blussh, you can't really tell that it is there, apply it on the apples of your cheeks. and maybe you could experiment with the colours of your lipblam/lipgloss. i think you should try a different colour on your eyelids too, maybe one to match your outfit. you could have a brightly coloured one evey now and again just for a change. you never know, it might grow on you, then you might like it better[:

yea usually people with fair skin and not black or bright blonde hair look very very good using more natural tones and sheer colors

i like a shiny tinted lip gloss like the covergirl ones in my list under 'stuff i use'

and burts beeswax tinted lipbalm in watermelon

and covergirl eyeshadows are sheer and sparkly but you can tell you have them on, and Ulta shadows are great

for liners i like the automatic pencils from Ulta and i only do my top lid

look up DOLL EYES on youtube they're pretty and delicate

and i use Covergirl cream foundation in ivory it's semi translucent so it blends well
