Getting a tattoo is a big decision, and it's nice to have your parents' permission and support. I got a tattoo without my mom knowing and she took it fairly well when she did find out. But then again, what was she going to do? You know your parents the best, so you know how they'll react. You might want to broach the topic to them befiorehand and test the waters. keep in mind, you're not going to be able to keep it a secret forever.
I know you're not going to want to hear this, but...14 is a rather young age for deciding on something that will be on your body for the rest of your life. Just make sure that you really want the tattoo, that you won't regret it and that it has a lot of meaning for you. If you do talk to your parents, they might tell you to wait a couple years. This isn't a bad thing, because if you still really want the tattoo after a couple of years, then you can be sure that you'll never regret it (or maybe you'll decide on something you want more). Also, if you do get this tattoo, really research tattoo parlours, and make sure that they are clean and have all of the proper credentials.
Good luck!

I really do not recommend it, They will find out ,they always do. I think you need to decide whether or no the punishment is worth it.
For example I would pay no attention to my curfew and come home hours later, knowing that my parents would punish me the next weekend, but not caring because that night was worth the next weekends sacrifice.Am i making sense?? If the punishment your parents are going to dish out (I'm sure you have an idea as to what it may be) is worth it ,then maybe have it done. But like EasyBeezi said you still young and its a major decision that why where I am you have to be older to legally get one

im 14 too and i dont recomend it, first of all if you dont know someone who will do it for you then you really cant because if you go somewhere to get it dome your parents have to sign for you to do it... and like they said below is it worth it? and not just the punishment but your parents might restrict you from some things thinking your not honest...good luck with your decision!

I agree with the others, you should wait. You might regret it and there is a big chance they will find out if you do it. Also, why the rush? A tattoo is permenent, when you first have gotten it, you are going too have it the rest of your life. Isn't it stupid too get it now, and risk lots of problems, when you can get it without problems later?
And remember, it isn't anyone who would make a tattoo on a 14 year old, without her parents premission. Most tatto artist would refuse, leaving you with only the bad left.
