My wife's hair is dry, brittle and looks pretty damaged. How can she get back her silky smooth hair?

Split ends and very dry look.

I would first try a hot oil treatment and let it stand and massage into her hair a little longer than instructed. I usually make an olive oil hair treatment once a week. and let it stay on for about an hour. She should try to find a good hair masque and deep conditioner for her dry hair. The Dove conditioners are not bad. If she uses the flat iron a lot she should try to limit herself and use a heat protectant on her hair before she flat irons. A trim may also help get rid of some of the damaged ends.

here are some cool homemade hair mask recipes:

they work so much better than the ones you can buy! and besides doing treatments, she should pay more attention on her lifestyle. mostly everything we do is visible on our hair, skin, nails.. so eat healthy, do workouts, avoid smoking, alcohol and drugs.. stuff like that!

hope it helped! :D

look for something that say's spa or salon in the name it's going to be expensive but you get what you pay for

also if she colors her hair alot it will keep damaging it or if she blowdries alot
