How can I discipline myself better to eat right and want to exercise more?

I kickbox on Mondays at the local Rec Center and play Volleyball Fridays.

But when I want a snack I just don't go after the carrots in the fridge I'd prefer the oreos in the pantry. Want can I do? Thanks

haha yeah I get what your saying , sweet , junky food is soo tempting when you're tired or hungry. Hmm if your not able to motivate yourself to eat healthy foods all the time just substitute for foods that are similar but low in fat/calories. If you have a sweet tooth like me then you'll love to snack on marshmellows and gummy bears . OR even fruits which are much more tastier than vegetables help. Make yourself a smoothie from natural fruits (mangoes, strawberries, bananas ) maybe add some skim milk. I sometimes drink skim milk with a hint of cinnamon and sugar .(I warm it up in the microwave) . Its awesome for relaxing your mind and making you sleepy. If you want more filling snacks try eating pretzels, lean meat slices (make a sandwich with veggies and whole wheat bread) , and slightly fried veggies (so very little olive oil) . So just go healthier little by little. :) As for the exercise put some music with an ipod or radio. Maybe stretch while watching tv .
