So I know none of you (at least most of you) aren't shrinks or anything alike, but I want some advice on how to...well NOT BE A MESS 24/7. I definitely need more time for myself, I'm busy with school, and other activities related to school, then I spend most of my afternoons at my dentist cuz there's a bunch of work to do on my white but very low "quality" teeth. It's not uncomfortable, it just takes away SO much time I could spend simply relaxing or catching up on my studies. For example, I'm writing all this about 10 minutes before I'm supposed to walk out of my house and go to the dentist and I just got home from school. So I don't even have time to eat or anything. I'll be back at 4:30 and I have to study stupid history and physics for tomorrow, and math for wednesday. Plus, things with my family are kind of hard, don't want to bore you to death with that and all I need is some peace and quite, to...read, perhaps? I don't know anything else that could relax me as well as reading. And like I mentioned, for several reasons I'm always under pressure. I find myself reading a book until 4 in the morning, only to realize it doesn't calm me at that time, but only makes me feel worse - for the following day with the lack of sleep and everything. I try to read a bit like on the bus on my way to...anywhere i go, but I just feel uncomfortable. That's one more lame thing about me. Wherever I go, whatever I do, I feel uncomfortable about myself. I know, I know. A TRUE trainwreck. But I keep it together on the outside, which puts even more weight on my shoulders. Maybe it's because I have no one to talk to, but I don't want to be pathetic like that. There are plenty people in my life willing to listen, but they are not the right ones. So is there an actual way to sort out my mind? I wish I could pause the time sometimes to gather up some strength to carry all of my problems before I burst out at someone, but I have to be a fighter, and fighting emotionally is something I do worst.

I think that this is a common problem for a lot of us. I am not a professional but I took a few psych classes and I have a lot of experience with time management.
The first thing I would suggest is drawing up a time table for each day of the week, colour code them for school, activities, dentist,etc.
Make sure that you have atleast 30 minutes blank each day.
Reading until 4 is not ideal, you said so yourself. Rather limit the night reading to a few hours to make sure that you get 7 hours of sleep. Sleep is so important when it comes to stress and anxiety.
What really helps me relax is a bubble bath. It doesn't solve your problems but it does calm you down. A nice bubble bath with lavender oil and herbal tea is heaven to a stressed out student

Aside from everything isy mentioned (which is all FANTASTIC), make sure you're taking enuogh vitamins. Especially nearing the end of winter, we all seem to need a little more vitamin B complex and vitamin D. Those will not only help you feel rested but also greatly improve your mood. Also if you find that you are having issues with anxiety, you can take an herbal supplement that won't harm your body or risk addiction. Rhodiola is great for anxiety and valerian root will help you have a more restful sleep.
