About
I am a student. I have a wonderful boyfriend. I am a rather average girl... I am a great listener and love to help out and volunteer. I am currently volunteering at the hospital because I have an interest in going into the medical field. Otherwise my life is simple.. just like anyone else's.

At Home Hair Straightening Kit

Has anyone ever used the At Home Hair Straightening Kit? I have seen the Japanese Versions and other ones. I was wondering How well these products work? I was thinking about trying one... but which one?

I have done the permenant hair straightening in a professional salon in Japan. I loved it! but it was also over $400 to get it done. The at home kit is about $50..which is more affordable. my curls are now coming back, and I want an easier way to tame my fro.

it's best if you can find a friend to help you and maybe even find a website that's dedicated to things like that

do a google search for that and maybe even post something in your local craigslist.org asking for someone to email you who has done it before.

i have a few friends that did it and it looked easy they just put the cream on theire hair and combed it through. they let it set (it can burn a bit so only leave it on as long as it says or if it starts to irritate you alot go ahead and rince)

i would suggest having a friend there either way and going over your 'plan of action' like maybe starting at the base of your neck and work your way up to the crown in small sections so everything gets covered

I would try it but I dont think it will be as good. I would try tit though if youre willing to spend the money, It will fry your hair literally even more than salon ones will though. So I would def condition! A lot! or you will have a headful of possibly very straight but very unhealthy dry hair.
