I know how you feel. My beloved pets are just like my brothers and sisters, and when one of them dies, it feels like my whole world has fallen down. Just remember that everyone moves on from loss, and one day you will see them again in the afterlife.

I am sorry to hear that. I hate loosing a pet. That is why my parents hate getting pets for me because once they pass away I get really sad and depressed.

I had a friend and she just got a new puppy. Well the puppy got out of the house and she did not know it. She was backing her car out of the driveway and ran her puppy over! She was soo depressed. =(

heey im really sorry to hear that you lost your pet. i cant really say i know how you feel. i had a dog that died when i was three, but i cant really remember. i have a dog know and i cant image losing her . she means the world to me and i know its going to be hard when she passes and i can only image what your going through..

hear are some tips i found.

Realize that your friend isn't with you anymore, that you won't be able to hear his bark anymore, that you won't be able to throw a ball and wrestle with him to get it back. Understand that your pet is gone.

Cry and mourn. You need to do this or you might feel even more sad. Choose a memory spot and plant a tree there, in honor of your friend. Choose a time for walks each day, to a quiet spot where your can cry alone.

Call up family and friends and tell them all about the great memories your furry friend and you had. This will always make you feel a bit better. If people say mean and nasty things to you like "It was just a stupid dog" or ignorant stuff like that, just ignore them.

Be angry. Be angry and blow off steam. You need to do this so that you can feel more relaxed and calm.

Draw, write about, and sing about your dog. Share memories with people you trust and love. When my doggy died, I wrote stories about him called "Super Dog Sam" In those stories he saved people and animals, maybe you'll find comfort in writing similar stories about your dog.

Get good nutrition, plenty of rest, regular exercise, and get out to see people. Don't stay isolated.

Be patient with yourself. Don't let anyone dictate how long the mourning should last.

I know how you feel... I found a little bitty abandoned baby bunny and so I nursed, and eventually weened it off a bottle... I had gotten its own cage and everything. It got to where I could close it in the cage, and it would make little whines for me to let it out.. so I did, and it would hop as fast as it could over to me and snuggle up to my chest or neck.. I mean heck, I even had the darn thing trained to come when I called it... About 3 days after I had found it, the little thing had escaped from the cage, and got itself lost... all I had to do was call it, and you would see the cute little furrball come hopping towards me at full speed... well.... about 2 or 3 days after that, only about a week since I had found it, I came home from school and opened the cage, and the bunny just stayed still.. no hopping outside to greet me, not even a rustle... So I picked it up, and looked to see if anything was wrong. I didn't see any visible harm to it, but once I sat it down to walk, started to roll over to one side - It coudn't even walk.. Next thing you know, it's having nonstop seizures.. and later that night, I saw my dad carrying it in his arm with its neck limp, the life gone out of the poor thing.. I'm crying now as I'm typing this.. I really do not ever wish that on anyone.. ever.. It's the worst thing to ever even think of.. I feel your pain.. I'm so terribly sorry that happened... If you need someone to talk to, feel more than welcome to talk to me..
