How can I become skinnier and pretty in 6 weeks before I go back to school?

I want to change alot so i can surprise people at school when I go back in september and I want to have a better school year

1. Losing weight fast will almost always end up being unhealthy and make things WORSE for you. You should be thinking months-year when it comes to proper weight loss IF you are overweight or at an UNHEALTHY weight range
2. Skinnier =/= prettier. That's basically media's portrayal of beauty that tell you that you have to be thin to be pretty. That's not true, you can change and be pretty in other ways that may not put your health and happiness at risk. 6 weeks is way too fast if you are expecting a dramatic change.
3. Skinnier =/= happier. The people you surround yourself around, the things you do, the way you feel about yourself and perceive is what makes you happy.

Understand all 3 of those things before you begin.
Next figure out, if you are doing this for yourself or to impress other people? This should be for your own happiness , not to impress anyone at all, not even your friends. This should be for you, or you'll not be motivated enough to legitimately do this.

What you do:
1 . Exercise at least 3 days in the 5 day week for an hour
2. Drink lots of water, and minimize the consumption of junk food, sugars, sweets, etc
3. It's better to eat lots of small meals then a series of big meals. After a small meal you can easily burn off the calories of that meal.
You retain weight , when your body is not able to burn up all the calories you've consumed. So for example, if you eat 1800 calories of food everyday, then if you want to maintain your weight you need to burn 1800calories, to lose weight you need to burn off a little more than 1800. The body , though, needs a minimum amount of calories to function and survive. That's why low caloric diets are dangerous, they put the body into starvation mode and screw up your metabolism. That is not what you want. The minimum that your body needs in terms of caloric intake is around 1535cal. I believe

It's better to be safe than sorry. Slow and steady and things will turn out great for you. Don't turn to doing things that'll screw you over in the end.

In terms of beauty ^o^ That's my forte! Is there anything you want to improve on? Hair? Makeup? Skincare? Just be more specific. If it's makeup, if you post up a frontal image of you, I can show you a way to do your makeup to create a number of looks. If not I know lots of skincare tips and hair is my weakest strength xP

It really depends on how much you want to lose, everyones bodies arn't the same so somethings might not work for you. The only certain way to lose weight, Cut out all sugary drinks and food! Eat lots of fruit in the morning and vegetables all day long! Excercise as much as possible! Go running or to a gym if theres one near you or just swimming! look up excercises and good luck! (: if you had more information about you (how much you want to lose, body tyoe, etc. ) it would be easier to help you! But as I said, good luck, I hope you reach your goal! (:

Making it simply for you.
Eat right and exercise. That's how your gonna lose weight.
It may take some time but don't get hard on yourself.
If you really want to go all out with change maybe you can try a haircut and different color!?!
change up your style a little, but remember to still be yourself.

Thanks silence - im not what u call fat neither skinny but i feel it sometimes and need a change. I have been through somewhat alot the past few years and i feel this is a time to start afresh - Im gonna go now to look at ur stuff bout beauty and hair - if i have anymore questions can i just ask ya ? thanks alot for ur tips :)

Thanks :) I have rougly 6 weeks in the holiday so what i did was make a timetable so whenever im not eating salad and that :P and i have nothing to do i have a target for the day like running, going to gym, walking 1 or 2 or 3 or whatever of my dogs one at a time, or go on my bike round the beach - so im always excersing , even if i have stuff to do im gonna at least do different activites at least 4 days a week - Will tell u how it goes? Its like I've had a lot to deal with with stuff and just about getting used to it though i never will probs but thinking bout telling people bout it soon

I'm actually putting my self on a diet for the last about 5 weeks before school starts for me! I want to lose about 15 pounds but I'm not sure thats exactly possible haha I definitely know how you feel though! And Trust me! I'm sure you're pretty, you just gotta feel it! (: Try new things though! New hairstyles or new ways to do you're makeup and maybe you'll find something you really like! I always youtube tutorials and find some really good stuff (: but don't worry about being 'prettier' I think every teen feels like they're not pretty enough or not skinny enough or whatever! But please do keep me updated though! (: If you wanna talk about what's been going on with you I would be glad to help/listen! I hope I helped!!

Thanks and yh - hope ur diet goes well :) by ur pic u look much prettier than me and yh all my mates go on bout not looking pretty or skinny enough so that makes me feel like consious aswell - im changing like my hair and have dyed it and finish skl sometime next week so i will keep u updated :) And yh u've helped alot with all my problems - thanks again
