Recommended shampoo and conditioner for dyed hair?

Every time I dye my hair, it seems to fade within 2 weeks or so! I'm un-sure if it's my shampoo and conditioner, or whether my hair just want's to be a lighter shade! Any recommendations as to which shampoo and conditioners might help my color last longer? Thanks!

Uhm, Pantene is great. (: DO NOT use Herbal Essence...

Also, maybe your hair just doesn't hold colour well. Broken hair/dry hair/split ends do not hold colour well, healthy hair holds dye better. Also, shower a day before you colour your hair.

get a wash to use every few days to keep the color dark

it's great to use a color safe shampoo and conditioner but you can also use this every 2-3 days after you condition (you leave it in while you finish your shower and wash it out before you get out) and it'll keep adding a lil color to help maintain if you use it right you'll never have to color your hair again and you can just stop using it when you want your normal color back

Tresemme ColorThrive says it will keep the color for about 5x longer. Worth a try i guess.

Matrix Biolage Delicate Care.

Great stuff, way better than than all those Walmart Shelf brands.
