There's really nothing you can do, distance usually effects everything. I've moved several times and rarely speak to those friends anymore. (Talk to them only a few times a year.) My best friend that I used to have has moved onto other friends and best friends, but so have I, but that doesn't mean we don't consider each other best friends. Don't assume that your old friend has been on facebook - if you see her commenting on others after you tried talk to her. She's ignoring/avoiding you. Maybe she's having a hard time dealing with the fact that you've left. Trying to create other bonds with other people, have new friends. There's always the phone - try calling her. I think you shouldn't be caught up in this, move on girl grade five best friends don't mean too much in a few years!

Hope you're okay. don't forget to smile xo.
I'm always here if you need some support, I've been through this.

Sometimes people just grow apart. It has happened to me before even without distance. Especially if you don't go see her then your friendship probably won't last too much longer. But you can make it work. I moved 3 years ago when I was in like 7 th grade and I am still friends with people from where I use to live. It's like an hour away and ocassinally I go out and visit them and we still talk but if it's growing apart there's really nothing you can do about it. It's sad but eventually everyone moves on and you will probably have a new bestfriend before you know it. Good luck.

I actually have the same problem , but I dont mind. Cause that is just life ! and you shouldn't really care much , go and find yourself a new BFF :) and just ignore her and have fun living :D
