In theory, it can be just as healthy to eat meat than to not- if done in moderation and without red or fatty meats. However, personally: I stopped eating meat 3 years ago. For ME, it was a very healthy choice. I lost 15 pounds within 2 months and had more energy within 2 weeks of becoming vegetarian. Your body will stop craving meat after 2-4 weeks. Some people can quit eating meat all at once, but for some people it is a shock to their system (especially if you eat meat often). Becoming a vegetarian is really not hard AT ALL if you live in a city, there are always veggie choices at grocery stores. Look for products made by MorningStar and Boca in the frozen foods section, they have plenty of tasty meat substitutes. Just make sure you dont have a sudden drop in protein. It is really easy to get protein without meat, just read nutrition labels. Look up protein requirements for your height and weight on the web. As for me, I am now vegan (no meat, milk or egg products) and perfectly healthy. I've never starved, passed out from malnutrition or been tempted to go back to meat. In the end it is a personal decision but there are many websites available to help with being a healthy vegetarian. This is a good one to start at: Good luck!

well then stop eating meat cuz its mean and think about a big giant taking u and birning u alive it a pan and flipin ya and puttin dreassing on and EATING YOU and RE PRODUCING YOU! dont be a CARNAVORE! there is noooo benefit to eating meat and are many lengths of benefits of being veggie! just because were bigger than them, and cant understand them, doesnt mean your any better or different than them.:((:-s

Becoming a vegaterian doesnt mean you loose weight and sometimes it can be a bad choice. Im a vegaterian but you might not be able to get all the celcuim and stuff like that you need

When cutting meat out of your diet, make sure you are able to get the right amount of protein in other places. Meat does serve a purpose in your diet but when cutting it out make sure you still eating all the nutrients, vitamins, and iron your body needs.

it means you have to learn what foods to combo (like beans and cornbread) to make protin

everyone needs a healty balanced diet

it's just as healty to be a vegetarian as a meat eater

you both would need the same amount of calories and vitamins and you would just find different places to get them

it's easier to just eat your meat to me

you can loose weight by making correct choices when you eat

like if you have to eat out try a grilled chicken and baked potato or grilled chicken on a salad

try to stay away from beef and french fries

don't eat ll you bread from your food and skip that sweet treat cause you know you don't really need it
