Would you think it's weird if...

... one of your friends (or just somebody that you sort of know) wore regular clothes and no makeup one day, dark eyeliner and form-fitting clothes the other, and then preppy clothes and no makeup the next day?

I'm tired of being confined to one clique, which I'm not in to begin with, so people get it wrong... so would it be weird if you saw someone day to day dressing differently?

And guys, if your girlfriend did that, would you be freaked out and not be attracted to her as much because she keeps changing her style? I'm sure my bf likes me for who I am, but sometimes other people can see you for you before you yourself can realize it... and I'm sure he doesn't like me for the clothes I wear, but if he started wearing these polo shirts and khakis one day and then regular clothes the next I'd wonder what the heck was going on too, because who he is to me might not be who he is to himself...

, just to clear things up, the reason i think about changing my style is because i used to wear only band t-shirts, jeans, etc. and people basically flat-out ignored me and i felt bad about myself, even though i was wearing the stuff i feel the most comfortable in. then i started wearing the occasional wet seal t-shirt and people started looking at me differently and acted nicer and friendlier, but those shirts weren't my thing, u know?

i'm trying to decide if i should wear the clothes that i feel most comfortable in and be a social reject or wear expensive clothes that automatically put me in a social group (emo,

Gosh, if my boyfriend thought I was less attractive just b/c of what I wore for school was dramatically different one day than another; then i would not be with him b/c that is so shallow. He is dating me for me and not for my clothes. Clothes does not make a person. Plus I do not wear makeup to school, only unless I am going out. I know I look completely different when I am in school then when I go out. I am laid back, bootcut jeans and a Tshirt when I go to school. When I go out I wear a lot of black fitted tops, nice slimmer jeans and heels. So to answer your question, I do not think it would be wierd to add varity to your wardrobe.

or maybe she's trying to find a look that she likes best on her and that other people react best with.

wow..........that's really confusingly tough.........if i had a bf and he won't like me for changing my style everyday, he's not worth it...........i guess that's fine, it's just that poeple are still getting used to your random style, if you always change your style especially around them and him, then they'd et used to it and it wouldn't be a problem

lol this will be soooo solved when you get out of school.

wear what makes you comfortable. and sometimes that might be a mix of easy clothing and being able to hang out with ppl.

try to come to a happy medium. you don't have to shop expensive. towards the end of school i wore button up shirts with cloth skirts and multi colored leggings and daria boots.

some days it was just jeans and a tshirt.

but i was always to dress code.

i was friends with lots of ppl i was outgoing (that took years of working on) but by that time i realized i could wear what i wanted and it really didn't matter that much to ppl as long as i was nice and a good person.

be you and as long as your nice who cares if you only have 1 friend they better be your best damn friend! and everyone else is just school buddies so why should they matter they don't go home with you?
