oh that totally sucks! That has happened to me before and yeah it's such a bummer. Well, there really isn't much you can do about but transfer what's left of it to another container and make use as a loose powder instead. Use a powder brush when applying--it's less messy. When you get a new compact, pour in a few drops of ethyl alcohol on the surface. This settles and binds the powder so it won't break easily.

sometimes you can take a smooth metal measuring cup or spoons bottom and press it back into the container but it probly wont' be the same and you'll have to be delicate with it.

so yea i'd just change it to a new container

put it back and then get a cup or a hammer and knock until it is back

it happened with me, actually it alwayyys happens with me, but i got a new one because it is not good to use it if it was dropped on the ground .

Just put all the pieces back on the plastic thingy and get a small spoon from the kitchen. Start pressing the loose powder and the pieces but not to hard because if you do it too hard they will crack again. Just have a lot of patience and use the tip of the spoon, the smallest part you can use. Dont try to fix it by dragging the bottom of the spoon on the powder, it will mess everything up. Put special effort on the sides, because there there must not be empty spaces because they will ruin the rest.

gud luck.

and there is a vedeo on you tube.
