DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT box color your hair. since your hair has green pigments in it, the color will not turn out right. go straight to your salon and explain what happened. color correction only usually costs like $35... and its worth it. unless you want green hair, that is.

i am a hairstylist... so trust my word.

My mom's a retired hair stylist, she said never get ur hair colored when ur hormonal , your color will not turn out....one time she forgot and colored hair from golden to ash, it turned green....yes swimming/chlorine can effect it but its not always the reason. She agree's do not use home boxed color to correct the green. if u cannot afford to go to a salon right away she advises using a strong shampoo such as prell a few times...within a couple days the ash/green dissappeared. she strongly advises a high quality conditioner afterwards....this worked for her!

there is a color fixer you can buy that takes out the color you added but i can't remember the name. you can also use a blonde rince. i have a brunette version i got from walmart in my lists under 'stuff i use'

you use it everyday in the shower after you conditon then let it set until your done shaving or what ever then when your hair's the color you want just use it every few days to maintain your color
