Semi Permanent Dye To Brighten Blonde Highlights In Dark Brown Hair-Is this possible?

My blonde highlights have faded and I need to lighten them up....looking for a way to do it without lightening the dark brown hair? Any suggestions....would semi-permanent hair colour do the trick? Thanks in advance for any advice!

The thing you need is called toner, If you go to sallys and explain your problem they will recommend you something. I would advise not buying this from a normal shop.

Or you could use silver shampoo, which is the best.

This is a shampoo with toner inside to help brighten highlights. It is basically blue, it looks like ink.

Wella SP Do the best one.

Wash your hair with it as like a normal shampoo but leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing.

Thank you so much....I have tried several different beauty supply stores but they claim a person needs a license....I have done my hair myself for years and haven't messed up yet except that the highlights fade. I am in Canada and will try when I go to Toronto this week.

I am in Canada and we have a couple brands...will check and see that also. It is a pain having to do highlights again when I have so many nice one except faded now. I think I read on the box of Natural Instincts that blonde colours will not lighten the dark hair. Appreciate your reply and will go to city to check it out. Sorry about your "Orange Hair" been there once also....

I don't have a pic right now...they are all terrible....Thanks again...
