Should I make the first step to get out of the friendzone?

I have a (boy)friend and we know each other for 4 years. We have the same interests and worldview, he often called my his best friend and we also had one attempt to start a relationships but he seems to have serious issues with commitment...'for now' as he claimed, things started to change after that low period and we managed to discuss several problems related to our relationship, now I feel that he changed his mind but I'm still not 100% sure whether he wants more.....should I take the risk and make the first step to get out of the friendzone? Thanks for any answer...

Well you ALWAYS need to look at things from his point of view. Do you think he would be comfortable upgrading your status? and do you want to risk your friendship? Is your love for him worth losing your friendship? there are just so many questions that you need to answer, its a huge decision that only you could make for yourself.

first of all. are you always together? if that's the case, he may not see your true value, try hanging out with your other friends more, try to avoid being with him in a manner that he will not notice. it may seem that your too busy, etc. just like reverse psychology. this will make him realize your true worth to him. the result is maybe he will realize that he needs you as a friend or as a girlfriend. :)
