i like covergirl eyeshadows they are semi sheer so just a tint of color with some sparkles and ULTA is another great brand for that too

its late so if you have any questions, contact me.

cause i may forget something. :p

but there are many ways you can do this.

i would suggest eye shadows that are lighter and shimmery...they will open and brighten your eyes, and if you do it right, you'll still be able to keep your scenester/emo style.

to do the photo i attached (i know the quality sucks)-

start by covering your lid, up to the crease, with a silver, sparkly colored eyeshadow. flick out the outer corners for a more "scene" appearance.

now; you could stop here and add liner & mascara for a simple look...or you can keep going like i did, and make it a little more interesting.

choose a color. (i chose green)

then, (and start lightly) start applying the color to the outer top lid. and bring it about a third of the way into your lid, and up to the crease.

then, line both the top and bottom with black (or dark) eyeliner. again SLIGHTLY flick the outer corners. (not to long, tall, thick, etc.)

then add moderate amounts of black (or dark) eyeshadow over ONLY the liner. top and bottom.

do not do to much, its with smudge it too much and look messy.

then finish the look with 3 coats of black mascara.

more tips/the next step:

-adding small amounts of light/sparkly colors to the inner corner of your eyes make them POP.

-using dark eyeshadow causes a lot of dust to fall on your cheeks, make sure you swip them away with a big brush.

-make sure your eyes match...

i think thats about it...

if you want more, contact me and ill do a video.

its easier to show than tell
