Lose Weight?

Ok, i want to lose about 20 pounds. Im about 140-150 now. If i exercise for an hour each day how much would i lose?

Well it depends, what do you consider exercising? Brisk walking, sprinting, going on the elliptical machine on a level 13 incline with a level 5 resistance for an hour? Depending on the intensity of your workout and the variety will vary on how many calories you burn. But remember once you begin working out you will loose some weight but... if you begin to plateau, know that muscle mass weighs more than fat. so do not think you are not burning fat cells.

BTW, my brother has been working out on the elliptical and hour each time. He increases the intensity and resistance and he has lost about 3-5 pounds a week to week and a half. He works out about 3-5 times a week. So if you are dedicated enough your body will kick in to fat burning mood.

Ok, this might be hard to belive but if you kiss some one for an hour you can burn 60 calories!!! And its not as bad as sitting @ the gym for 2billion hours... Its a proven fact!!! google it!

all i'm saying is it's hard to do

you have to take in less calories then you burn, but you also have to get enough calories and vitamins to sustain your body.

a good way i like to burn is dancing : P
