Name is BriiAnna,
People call me beautiful but i dont think so. Shockingly my HOT/SEXY boyfriend is the main reason why I feel like I am ugly. Not because he tells me that I am, its just that I feel like I'm not good enough for him! :(

i'll tell you an important fact every girl dating a guy should know

he's dating you because he likes what you look like and who you are. if you go trying to change too much he may not be as attracted to you

Congrats on your smokin hot bf!

Losing weight is pretty simple to do as long as you are consistent...But you should make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. If this guy is already your bf he must already really be into you, right? So no doubt you already have impressed him :). If he's complaining about the way you look or making you feel unattractive then please be careful. Any guy you date should make you feel beautiful and treat you like a godess! If can't handle that then kick him to the curb.

Alternatively, if you just want to feel sexier and feel better about your own body, then here is my advice:

1. DON'T DIET! Each time you diet by cutting calories you scare your body into thinking it's starving. Your body combats this by increasing the size of your fat cells and decreasing the amount of lipogenic (fat burning) enzymes in order to conserve fuel. What this means is that each time you diet you'll make it easier for yourself to gain body fat later on. You see this a lot with people who are serial dieters. Generally the faster you lose weight, the faster it comes back on. It's a nasty cycle to get into.

2.5lbs of fat loss per week is optimal.

2. Drink Only Water. Aim for 1/2 your bodyweight in LBS in ounces of good clean water per day. This is super important for detoxifying the body as well as maintaining good energy levels.

3. Eat a variety of fresh, whole foods. ( Certified organic is best if you can afford it or if it's available.) A good rule of thumb for selecting foods is to ask yourself "was this here 10,000 years ago?" if not, don't eat it. Beef for example was here 10,000 years ago...cheeseburgers were not. Potatos were here 10,000 years ago, potato chips were not... An exception to this would be yogurts, which are an excellent source of good bacteria for your gut. Something which is essential for maintaining a healthy weight. Choose plain yogurts rather than anything with added sugar.

3. Avoid the 4 "white devils": white sugar, white flour, pasteurized dairy, processed salt. I'm not sure if this applies to you, but absolutely NO alcohol.

4. Keep a food diary. Write down EVERYTHING you put in your mouth, including everything you drink. This way you stay in control and can keep yourself accountable. You can also look back at the end of a week and figure out what worked well for you and what didn't, depending on how much weight you did or didn't lose. This isn't something you should do forever, but if you have a goal it's a great tool to help get you there.

5. Eat to your appetite! I don't recommend counting calories because it's not very accurate and is ridiculously stressful. Instead learn to listen to your appetite and get an idea of what foods make you feel satisfied and full, and what foods leave you hungry or feeling like you are bloated or ate too much. If you are eating good healthy foods, in the right amounts you should feel satisfied after each meal, with enough energy to get you to the next meal without feeling like you need to grab a chocolate bar.

If you find yourself getting hungry not long after a meal, craving sugar or pastries, or getting headachey and tired, try increasing your protein at your meals. Meat is the best source of protein and is a slow burning fuel, meaning it gives you energy for longer than say fruit or vegetables. If you do need a snack, make it healthy. You should never leave yourself feeling hungry!

6. Sleep. Get 8 hours per night. Sleep is essential for good health and weight loss. Your body uses the time when it's sleeping to repair you both mentally and physically. Trust me, this one is important!

7. Exercise! I recommend weight bearing exercises over cardio for a couple of reasons:

A) Weight training increases lean muscle mass which is GREAT for your metabolism. Muscle burns calories more effectively than fat as it needs more fuel to function. Basically you become to calories what a HUMMER becomes to gasoline. You want to be a total fuel hog!

B) Cardio for long intervals actually teaches your body to become more fuel efficient in that it teaches you to go further on fewer calories. This is bad news if you are trying to lose weight and burn up as much energy as you can. Basically in the longterm you become a Prius.

So, Hummer metabolism =GOOD. Prius Metabolism = BAD.

Also weight training will give you that sexy defined look that cardio doesn't. Cardio isn't the devil by any means, but I do highly recommend placing an emphasis on weight bearing exercise, such as push ups, squats, Lunges...

I also highly recommend hooking up with a personal fitness trainer for a session to get a good personalized workout program for you to do on your own at home or at the gym. (depending on where you live and where you go, probably around $70) If that's out of your budget, and you don't have any muscle or joint pain/injuries, then you can probably get away with pulling a generic workout program off the internet. Just google "bodyweight exercise program". Only work within your ability and never work past good form on any exercise. Get moving everyday for 30-60 minutes for sure! Vary the intensity of your workouts throughout the week.

8. Stand up straight! Good posture INSTANTLY makes you look more slender. It also makes your look more confident, and confidence is totally sexy! Just look at Angelina Jolie and Victoria Beckham.

I'd expect big changes for you fast if you follow this advice. Plus you'll feel 10 million times better than if you went on some atkins or south beach diet.

However you choose to eat or workout should be something that you can maintain your whole life. It should make you look and feel great and keep you healthy! Learn as much as you can about health and your body, and don't sacrifice short term looks for long term health. You only get one body and you gotta keep it going for a LONG time. No returns or refunds on bodies.

If you take an honest interest in your health and not just dieting to lose some weight real fast, you'll not only look and feel great your whole life, but you'll show everyone around you, including your bf, that you have self respect, and thats HOT.

FYI, I make my living as a personal trainer and holistic lifestyle coach.

Best of luck!

salveo has some extremely good advice all of which i agree with however somethings to add that could kick up the extra weight loss include:

the type of meat you eat, white meats, such as turkey, fish, and chicken have a significant amount of protein (which contain essential amino acids that our body doesnt naturally manufacture to contribute to how fast our body metabolizes fat), meaning cut down on the red meat like beef and pork which there fat to protein ratio is significantly higher in the fat content. Plus they have a higher sodium content which makes you retain water and eventually makes you look bloated especially in the ankles and abdomen.

However I say up the cardio more than the weight training!!

weight training is a toning effort, meaning that it futher defines your muscles , however in order to even begin seeing muscle you have to have a lower body fat percentage/ shed the fat that layers over your muscles. anaerobic exercises like weight training DO NOT elevate your heart rate enough to burn fat at a rate as fast as aerobic exercises do. But if you are disheartened about jogging or running, try elliptical machines and up the resistance and incline to get a workout just as vigorous as running, or try a cycling class. They go full throttle but not enough to make you wanna fall off your bike and die ;)

also chicken is NOT greasy! UNLESS you cook it in grease, so period stay away from fried food and things submerged in buckets of oil, the best and healthiest part of the chicken to eat is the white meat part or the breast, the dark meat is the worst portion. The difference between the two is that the breast portion was a more active or lean muscle of the chicken therefore more protein. you might notice that it would taste a bit drier, but the flavoring of meat is largely due to the amount of fat it contains. so the more fat the better it so called taste according to american standards. Believe me Im from texas and all they eat here is fatty cow.
