I think I can answer both your questions at once. First, do you know what skin type you are? Having a good cleansing routine is important, especially making sure to include exfoliating. What's your current routine like? Products you use? Also, NEVER sleep with makeup on. Really, it's best to take it off as soon as you get home, and not even wear it if you don't need to. Make sure your makeup brushes are clean. I like to use a daily cleanser spray from Sephora, and every few uses I'll wash them with my facial cleanser. Diet has a lot to do with your skin and hair, too. You obviously want a diet that consists of real foods, and include veggies with every (or most) meals. Have your fruits! I'm a big fan of fish oil supplements. I find they work pretty well for me. Your skin glows, your nails get stronger, your hair shines and grows faster.

If you haven't, do a little research. You can find anything with google! What foods are good for the skin, what products are best for your skin type, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of suggestions on how to get rid of pimples overnight. I think I came across a toothpaste suggestion once.

To add to the hair answer - I think it depends. If you style it often with hair tools, then it'd be good to get it trimmed regularly. That way only what's necessary will be cut off, which will be the minimum, and your hair will grow. Sometimes people go to salons with such damaged hair, they end up having to chop most of it off. Look into shampoo, conditioner and leave-in products that treat your hair to keep it as healthy as you can. As a personal preference, hair is where I like to use organic products only. Anytime I switch off to something you can find at a drugstore, my hair just isn't as soft and healthy looking as with organic. Right now I'm using DermOrganic again and loving it. Maybe organic products can help with your skin, too. I don't go crazy over being fully organic with makeup, though. I just look for foundations that aren't heavy. Inglot has been so fabulous to me so far. Makeup Forever is pretty popular among makeup artists I've conversed with back in my L.A days. I like it, too.

Egg whites can be a great home remedy for acne. It can be an astringent that can prevent the occurrence of pimple. You may also try mixing in baking soda with water and use it as a facial mask.
