Hey Bri, Well I know that's not good news, but it'll probably work out fine. You didn't say what the surgery was for, but lots of operations are pretty routine now and often you don't even have to stay in the hospital.

I would recommend two things to calm your nerves:

1. Find out everything you can about the operation and why they're doing it. How long will it take? Will there be scars? etc., etc. The more you know, the less you'll worry about needless things.

2. Try to relax as much as you can. There are lots of ways to do this. I like deep breathing and walking, but if you do yoga or something, that would be great. Actually, the best way for me to take things off my mind is to go shopping :D but maybe that doesn't work for u.

I hope everything works out and you'll be better than ever. :)))))))))
