Just wondering if anyone has experience with the BabyLiss Big Hair??? does it work well?

I was considering buying it, but i dont want to waste my money if it could buy a better product. The reason i was so keen on it is because my hair looks flat and boring and also very thick and heavy, so whenever i use a curling iron to do a few curls, they fall out within 2 hours. The babyliss "big hair" claims to give volume to hair and its layers... so i was hoping that maybe it would liven mine up a bit ?
